88 piece assembled set of English sterling silver flatware in the Fiddleback pattern. Includes 12 tablespoons-8 3/4" (William Eley & William Fearn), 12 dinner forks-7 7/8" (Richard Britton and Harry Emanuel), 12 teaspoons-7" (unidentified makers), 12 salad forks-6 5/8" (Robert Williams and William Rawlings Sobey), 12 spoons-5 1/2" (Josiah & George Piercy and Richard Britton), 12 dinner knives-9 1/2" (Old English by Smith & Langdell), 12 butter knives-8 1/2" (Old English by Smith & Langdell), 2 large serving spoons-11 7/8", 1 ladle-6 7/8", 1 pointed spoon-7 3/8". All pieces appear to be early to mid 19th century with the exception of knives. All pieces are fully hallmarked. Total sterling weight approx 127.6ozt including 118ozt weighable sterling plus approx 9.6ozt handled knives.
