Presented is a lovely pair of hand painted porcelain covered dishes made by Herend of Hungary. It is done in the popular Queen Victoria pattern. The dish and lid are completely hand painted with wonderful flower scenes The finial is a full bodied blooming pink rose and the handles are in a branch form framed with pink and yellow roses. The rim of the lid and dish are gilt with a wide basket weave border. Each measures 7" (18cm) width by 5" (13cm) height, total lot weight 752g.
