Beautiful, museum quality, 17th century oil painting on canvas depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ attributed to Guido Reni (Italian.1575-1642). Reni was an Italian painter of high-Baroque style. Measures 21" (53.34cm) height by 15" (38.1cm) width plus 2" (5.08cm) frame. Provenance: From an Italian lady, 80 years in age, residing in Miami. She and her husband were lovers of antiques and purchased items, mainly artwork, from antique stores and auctions. She lived first in Italy, then in Venezuela and currently in the USA.
