Antiques & Modern Auction Gallery is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. We travel throughout South Florida seeking high quality consignments for our monthly auctions. Our main objective is to get items sold for the highest prices possible, while providing the highest level of service and professional standards in the business.
Meissen has produced a wide variety of porcelain pieces throughout the years. Some of the more commonly found pieces are Vases, Urns, Clocks, Garniture Sets, Figures and Candelabras. Meissen has also produced complete dinner sets including dinner plates, salad plates, soup bowls, tureens, sweatmeats, trays, compotes among other pieces.
Meissen Porcelain was developed by Ehrenfried Walther von Tschirnhaus in the early 18th century. The company is still in business today. Meissen pieces have a signature logo, the crossed swords. This mark was introduced to protect its production and is one of the oldest trademarks in existence. The high quality and artistic value make Meissen porcelain very desirable by collectors and connoisseurs.
